International Digital Wellbeing Webinar Helps US Organisation Improve Focus and Productivity

Digital wellbeing expert, keynote speaker and coach Colin Corby, CEO of Technology Wellbeing Ltd, recently delivered a webinar for the Municipal Health Insurance Consortium in the United States, helping participants rethink their relationship with technology and develop healthier, more intentional digital habits.

The webinar, "Digital Detox: Reclaiming Focus, Health and Productivity in a Hyperconnected World", explored how constant connectivity, excessive screen time and digital distractions affect mental wellbeing, concentration, productivity and work-life balance.

A central theme throughout the presentation was that managing our attention effectively has become an essential skill for both personal wellbeing and workplace performance.

Drawing on the latest research in psychology, neuroscience and behavioural science, Colin explained how our everyday digital habits influence concentration, stress, sleep, relationships and decision-making. Participants discovered why digital wellbeing is not simply a personal issue, but an important factor in creating healthier, more productive and sustainable workplaces.

The interactive session provided practical, research-backed strategies that participants could begin applying immediately. These included three digital detox strategies and a five-day Digital Reset Challenge, designed to help people develop healthier digital habits.

A key message throughout the webinar was that digital detox is not about rejecting technology, but about using it more intentionally. By protecting our health, attention and humanity, we can build healthier relationships with technology and perform at our best, both professionally and personally.
Following the webinar, Benefits Manager Kylie said:

"We offer a wellness programme for all our members, and to enhance our Digital Detox Challenge, we brought in Colin for a virtual webinar. He delivered engaging, research-backed insights on the impact of digital habits on health and wellbeing. His interactive approach encouraged self-reflection and left participants questioning their own screen use. We highly recommend him as a presenter on digital detox strategies."

As technology continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, Colin's keynote talks, workshops and coaching programmes help leaders and employees develop healthier digital habits, protect their attention and wellbeing, and ensure technology enhances human capability rather than diminishes it.
